# Drug shortages in oncology
A cross-sectional survey of 95 specialists · Acta Oncologica 2024
## Results
Ninety-five oncologists were included in the study; forty-one percent of participants were aged between 30 and 40. The most affected groups were chemotherapeutics (61.4%) and biologic agents (56.8%).

## Conclusion
The study showed an extensive drug shortage in oncology clinics, independent of drug type. University hospitals reported worse results, underscoring the need for further evaluation of oncologic drug availability.
